TIPS ON APPLYING
ALL applications for positions with HERSHEY ENTERTAINMENT & RESORTS
are completed online. In addition to using a personal computer, you
can also apply online using one of the kiosks at the Employee Resource
Center.
1. SEARCH our list of available positions for the job that is right
for you. You can view the list by Position Title, Division (for example
HERSHEYPARK or HERSHEY LODGE), Status, and Date Posted.
- Seasonal Positions
Join our company for a limited time period, generally for the duration
of an operating season like summer or the holidays. Seasonal employees
end their employment with us at the close of the season, but many
return for future seasons.
- Part-Time Positions
Part-time positions allow you to work flexible schedules and/or hours
at the convenience of the company.
- Full-Time Positions
Full-time positions are year-round. All full-time employees are eligible
to participate in applicable employee benefit plans.
2. LOGIN with your User ID and Password.
New Users
If you are a new user, follow these steps to create your User ID and
Password:
- From the Login screen, select “If you are a new user,
you may register here”.
- Complete all the sections of the registration form.
User ID: We suggest using the first letter of your first name, and
your full last name
Password: Create a password that you will remember easily.
Email address: We use this information to email your password in case
you forget it.
3. CHOOSE a position of interest and select Apply For This Position
to submit your application. A few hints for completing your online
application:
- Complete all fields of the application, even if they are not marked
as required.
- Desired Work Days: Keep in mind that many positions require at
least some evening and weekend work.
- Current Experience: Complete
as much information in this section as you can. Additional information
can be provided during your interview if needed.
- Salary: Do not use punctuation when completing this section. For
example avoid dollar signs ($) and commas (,).
4. Interested in more than one position?
Complete an application for your first-choice position. Then, return
to the job listings. To select other positions of interest to you,
click on “Apply Now” in each job posting. If your first-choice position
is filled, your application will be forwarded to the appropriate
departments for the additional positions you indicated.
