Looking for an exciting opportunity in the Hospitality Industry?
HERSHEY ENTERTAINMENT & RESORTS offers an Internship Program
that’s too HIP to be beat! Within the Hospitality Internship Program
(HIP), four core disciplines (Food & Beverage, Guest Services,
Recreation, Convention Services) allow you the chance to explore
various areas of the Hospitality Industry and gain real-life experience
relative to your school studies.
The Hospitality Internship Program is a unique program where interns
receive the opportunity to gain managerial skills and customize their
experience. From leading guest activities in the Recreation Department
to organizing a formal banquet event, you will receive the ultimate
sweet experience.

professionals and peers within the hospitality fields: Build professional
relationships with the very best. As an intern you have the opportunity
to interact with every level-from management to other interns participating
in the program.
Enjoy great perks and

receive a number of discounts at each property including FREE admission
to HERSHEYPARK and discounts on select merchandise and food & beverage
products.
Housing: We offer housing for students enrolled in the Hospitality
Internship Program. For your convenience, housing cost will be deducted
from your bi-weekly paycheck.

Program Concentration
HERSHEY ENTERTAINMENT & RESORTS offers four hospitality programs
Program Benefits
- One-on-one coaching sessions with a Department Manager.
- Opportunity to shadow and work a “Manager-on-duty” shift at
THE HOTEL HERSHEY. Work side-by-side with an assigned MOD during
a full shift. Interns will learn how to oversee a resort property,
learn about the Diamond Standards of guest service and see the
“behind the scenes” work of a property manager.
- Introductory luncheon and concluding banquet where you as the
intern can provide feedback on the experience with the general
managers of the properties.
- Explore various departments: multiple rotations with allow students
to experience different areas of the resorts properties and fully
understand how the guest experience flows through every aspect
of the business.
- Customize your experience: You can select a department
of your choosing or shadow another property.
- Extended Learning
Opportunities: Students will have the option to choose from a list
of weekly professional development training opportunities, on selective
topics such as management, career paths and working in the hospitality
industry.
Program Requirements:
- Must be 18 yrs. of age or older
- Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited institution that
will support a career in the Hospitality Industry.
- For students interested in Recreation/Activities: must have current
lifeguard training certificate, CPR and first aid certification.
